1) Coursework piece number 1 (the comparison of themes and issues in HT and 1984) - first draft is due Dec 7th
2) Coursework piece number 2 needs to engage with the ideas in the critical anthology AND another text. I would like you to be working on proposals for:-
-a piece which argues that a text should/shouldn't be in the literary canon (might work better if written as an article, rather than an essay)
-a piece which argues that a text benefits from a Marxist reading
Do come and find me (always in room 2) if there are any issues with this.
